From signup to the first signal

Set up the whole office, step by step.

Start with the owner account, build the office, activate staff phones, register computers, and choose how ReadyMaxer should alert each person.

Create the owner account

Create the account, verify the email address, and complete secure billing. The owner account controls the office setup and subscription.

Build the office

Use the setup assistant to name the practice, add every signal location, add staff and departments, and customize the preset signals. Never put patient names or information in ReadyMaxer.

Activate phones and watches

Send each staff member their activation link. They open it on their phone to join the office. Apple Watch and Wear OS use the identity from the paired phone app.

Register every computer

Install ReadyMaxer on the computer. An office admin opens QR Sign In on their activated phone, scans the setup QR, and chooses what that computer becomes.

Assigned to a room
Best for an operatory or exam room. It always opens in that room, and several computers may share the same room.
Flexible workstation
Best for the front desk or a shared computer. Each person signs in with their phone and confirms the current room before sending.

Choose how alerts should feel

Every person can choose sound, vibration, or a watch-first setup. These are device settings, so each person completes this step on their own phone.

Hear ReadyMaxer during work
Leave the phone's notification sound on. Create a Work Focus or Mode, allow ReadyMaxer, and let that mode silence the other apps. If the whole phone is set to Silent or Vibrate, an ordinary ReadyMaxer alert will not reliably make sound.
Vibration only or watch-first
Use Silent or Vibrate when a sound would be disruptive. Keep haptics enabled. An Apple Watch in Silent Mode can still tap the wrist, and the alert remains visible with On my way and Done actions.
Time Sensitive and Do Not Disturb
On iPhone, allow notifications and Time Sensitive Notifications so ReadyMaxer can pass through an allowed Focus. Time Sensitive does not override the Ring/Silent switch. On Android, users may also grant the optional Do Not Disturb access for urgent-priority signals.

Run one test signal

Send a signal from a room computer, confirm that the correct phone or watch receives it, tap On my way, and finish with Done. Check every staff member before relying on ReadyMaxer during the workday.

The admin dashboard shows what is still missing. Staff can return to this guide from Settings in the iPhone or Android app.
